The White Horse is your quintessential English Pub, Restaurant and Village Garden nestled amongst the pretty cottages of Old Welwyn, and run by Father and Son team John and Adam Richardson.

Our fine English food is all homemade and sourced from local, seasonable, ethical and sustainable sources, and the menu created from scratch by our team of skilled chefs. The beer... Well! With 5 carefully conditioned Real Ales on tap, 2 of which constantly changing guest ales and a Cask Marque outstanding quality accreditation to our name, we’d like to think it’s pretty darn good.

We are a home-from-home and a community hive; a proud and active member of it. We’ve always got a smile on our face when you wonder through the door; and we only aim to put one on yours. You can warm yourself by our open fire in the winter, or don those sunglasses and sun yourself in our landscaped garden with a refreshing glass of great wine/ beer/ cider/ soft drink etc in the summer.

Wednesdays – Steak Night! 8oz Sirloin, 2 Sides, Sauce & a Drink only £14.00 Thursdays – Live Music from 8:30pm Sunday – 'The Best' Sunday Carvery. Serving 12:30 and 2:30 only. Pub Quiz from 8:30pm

Open All Day, Every Day from 12:00pm until late, and until 10:30pm on a Sunday. Food served 12 – 2:30pm and 6 – 9:30pm Monday – Saturday, and 12:30 and 2:30pm on a Sunday.
