Leslie Phillips, the great ‘ding dong’ actor of the Carry On films, was evacuated to Stevenage at the start of the Second World War from his home in Chingford. This exhibition looks at the popularity of the Carry On films through original scripts and photographs and personal memories of those who worked on them.

Museum opening hours have changed! Wednesday to Friday 10am to 4.30pm, Saturday 10 to 5.
