Who is Chris Hubbard?

Chris joined Jack FM in the spring of 2010. He's been in radio ever since he was a lad though. Before then, he spent 4 years or so as a producer at a big London station until we tempted him out into the Hertfordshire countryside for a breath of fresh air. And doughuts.

He's our News Guru at Jack but also does his own show Saturday from 9am when finally he's not interrupted by Steve and Janine.

Birthplace? Grantham in Lincolnshire (Birthplace of the greats...Isaac Newton...and...erm...Margaret Thatcher?!)

School Nickname? Chubs...

Favourite film? These questions are difficult on so little sleep! I'm a big fan of Tom Hanks films, but my guilty pleasure has got to be 'The Goonies!'

Favourite TV show? For professional reasons, I’ll have to say 'News at Ten'! But, I’m a big fan of 'Blackadder', 'Top Gear' and most documentaries.

Favourite band? Another difficult question as I keep changing my mind. I love all the 80s electro-pop stuff, but I could listen to Queen for hours...

What is your favourite town in Hertfordshire? Hitchin's quaint with it's market square and I'm a big fan of the open air pool - bit nippy when the breeze picks up though!

If you were not a presenter, what job would you want to have? If I were 20 years younger, I'd have to say steam train driver...Jim never did fix it for me (sighs)...

What is the most you've ever spent on a pair of shoes? How can I answer this without sounding like a cheapskate?!!

What is your favourite bar or restaurant in Hertfordshire? Choppy's in Ware is nice - friendly staff and buckets of mussells!

Who's the most famous person you've ever met? Apart from Steve and Janine?! David Hasselhoff was hilarious, Sir Michael Caine a gent, Sir Patrick Moore was fascinating, George Michael broke out into song...I'm guessing Jedward don't count?!

What are your favourite songs on your iPod? According to my iPhone, my most listened to artists are Cee-Lo Green, the Pet Shop Boys and Billy Joel...not sure what that says about me!

The gadget I use the most is? Does an alarm clock count? Without it I’d never make it into work at 5.30am.
